AEG says its Sense Cook range of induction hobs being launched at IFA provide precise assistance for perfect results at home. The company’s most advanced induction hob to date comes with the world’s first wireless and battery-less food sensor.
AEG says that professional chefs regularly use sensors to know when food has reached the correct core temperature. Now with the AEG SensePro hob, consumers can achieve restaurant-quality results in their own home, the company says.
According to AEG, it is the only hob which measures internal core temperatures accurate to +/- 1°C, guaranteeing perfect results with any cooking technique and any food – from boiling potatoes to simmering a sauce and pan-frying steak to any preference – rare, medium, well-done or even sous vide on the hob.

  •  Wireless Food Sensor measures food core temperature
  •  Touchscreen controls match desired result to food being cooked
  •  Frying automatically stops when desired result is reached
