The 360° rotating SpinView tray makes it easy to nd items and as such helps reduce food waste, Mr Arler said. Also in cooling, Electrolux said the UltraFresh+ fridge keeps fruits and vegetables fresh for up to seven days with no loss of nutrient quality.
Within laundry, Mr Arler said that AutoDose will be available on AEG’s 6000, 7000 and 8000 ranges. Managed through the My AEG Care app, AutoDose delivers tailored treatment to fabrics. Sensors identify load weight, automatically adjusting water, energy and cycle time.
He said: “The precise amount of detergent is dosed and dispensed and just at the right moment, not only providing great cleaning results, but also protecting bres, improving the feeling and touch and keeping fragrances fresher for longer.” Earlier this year, Electrolux announced a partnership with the eating technology company Innit. Live demonstrations of the partnership are taking place at IFA, showcasing the full connected cooking journey from planning, shopping, preparation and cooking.
