WMF REVIVES MANUFACTURING ROOTS WITH “INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 2.0” KITCHEN APPLIANCES

German premium appliance manufacturer WMF is at IFA 2018 to promote stylish kitchen appliances with an industrial look.

With its innovative KITCHENminis series, which now includes five generations and 23 products, the WMF brand offers high design aesthetics in the premium-yet- affordable market.

From the Aroma Thermo-to-go coffee machine, to a long-slot toaster and the 0.8l kettle, WMF is reviving its German industrial design roots by employing copper and graphite colours that have the veneer of the Bauhaus designers.

A perfect complement to industrial- look kitchens, WMF KITCHENminis punch above their weight in terms of premium functionality and efficiency, in addition to eye- catching new dark and metallic finishes.

Meanwhile, WMF’s new Lono Sous- Vide Pro cooker brings professional cooking into the home kitchen. The promise of unparalleled flavour and tenderness is created through slow cooking in vacuum bags (operated via the WMF Lono vacuum sealer) and precise temperature control. With the WMF Lono Sous-Vide Pro cooker, “any foodie can now become a chef in their own domestic pop-up restaurant,” according to WMF.

To complement the theme of healthy lifestyles, WMF is exing its industrial muscle with the MKult Pro 1.8l high-performance mixer that runs at 1500 watts and achieves up to 30,000 rpm – at the same time, it offers maximum safety thanks to the integrated WMF Safety Handling system, the new cut-off technology with GS certification.

It’s the ideal device for creative mixing, stirring and puréeing of fruits, green vegetables or super fruits and plant-based foods.

WMF is a brand within the WMF Group based in Geislingen an der Steige, which has been part of the French Groupe SEB consortium since 2016.
