At IFA 2018, Schwaiger is presenting a whole new range of components for the intelligent home

Schwaiger has once again extended its product range in the Smart Home area and will present these innovations at the IFA, which can be configured and controlled via the Schwaiger App.

Mike Tänzler, Schwaiger’s Managing Director, says: “We have expanded our range of Smart Home products and offer further interesting interfaces to third-party products.”

Tänzler says that through permanent customer contact and feedback, the company knows that security and comfortable operation of the software are the focus of users, so, it’s important that the interface is as user-friendly as possible. Functions such as admin rights or gateway access via web browser have been integrated for this purpose.

He says: “Of course, the software already communicates with Amazon’s language assistant and will soon be compatible with Google Home. For the future, we plan to integrate further language assistants coming onto the market.”

In addition, the range of Osram, Fibaro and other manufacturer components supported by the Schwaiger system is being continuously expanded and complemented. Aware that the individual smart home solutions offer advantages and disadvantages for consumers, the company now provides a compatibility list that is updated regularly.

Tänzler concludes: “I think our IFA program shows how much we care about smart homes.”
