Germany’s most famous jazz trumpeter teams up with one of the last big bands in the world at IFA 2018’s closing concert.

The musical finale in the IFA Summer Garden features Till Brönner and the US Air Forces in Europe Band. They will be performing a relaxed mixture of popular swing classics from Glen Miller to Benny Goodman along with the greatest pop hits of all time.

Your exhibitor badge or trade visitor ticket gives you free admission to the concert in the IFA Summer Garden this afternoon. Doors open at 4pm and the concert gets under way at 5.30pm.

Till Brönner is an international star. His first album, Generations of Jazz, was awarded the German Record Critics’ Prize in 1993. He has earned a global renown performing with musicians such as Dave Brubeck, Tony Bennett, Klaus Doldinger, Joy Denalane, Madeleine Peyroux and Carla Bruni. He was also a member of the X Factor jury. In 2016, Brönner was invited by President Obama to the White House to celebrate International Jazz Day.

The US Air Forces in Europe Band has been playing since 1943 to promote relations between the US and its European allies. The band has performed for kings, queens and presidents – and for thousands of international music fans. The band’s ongoing mission is to transcend the cultural boundaries and unite nations through music.
