The Amica Group, a leading European manufacturer of home appliances, is to sell large home appliances under the Fagor brand following the signing of a licensing agreement with Fagor S.Coop.

The deal makes Fagor the newest addition to Amica’s range of household appliances and marks a return to the international marketplace of the Fagor brand.

Amica Group delivers over five million appliances annually to customers in over 60 markets around the world

Innovative products recently introduced to the market by Amica include the BakingPro System, which is designed to improve the quality of baking and the comfort of using the oven. The redesigned oven chamber ensures precise heat distribution, stable temperature and fast heating. Steam baking (FullSteam and SoftSteam) allows maximum retention of vitamins and valuable micro-elements in prepared dishes.
The new ovens have one of the largest chambers on the market (XXL capacity), which accepts very large roasts an enables the baking of large batches.

Another Amica Group innovation is the OpenUp! function which makes oven use easier and safer. With OpenUp! the oven door opens automatically with a gentle touch of the sensor.
The Amica Group has been in business for over 70 years. Its offer covers a full range of large and small home appliances, employing the latest technology and modern design.

A core element of the company’s development strategy is investing in recognisable local brands. The group’s portfolio includes: Amica (Central and Western Europe), Hansa (Eastern Europe), Gram (Scandinavia) –  and it recently took over Fagor in Spain and CDA in the UK.

It delivers over five million appliances annually to customers in over 60 markets around the world. Last year, the group’s consolidated turnover was €700m.
