Motorola adds G62 5G and G42 to Moto G lineup

Motorola has added two new devices to its Moto G lineup. The Moto G62 5G and the LTE-equipped Moto G42 were unveiled in early June 2022, with product launches expected in the coming weeks.

The Moto G62 5G boasts a range of features. As well as 5G capability, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 480+ processor. The phone features a 6.5-inch LCD screen with full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

For photographers, there is a 50MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide module and a 2MP macro lens. A 16MP selfie camera features on the front.

In terms of more technical specifications, the Moto G62 5G contains 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded with the microSD slot.

Users can enjoy a long battery life with a 5,000 mAh battery and support for 20W charging.

On the other hand, the Moto G42 features a 6.4-inch OLED display, also supporting Full HD resolution. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor guarantees a 60Hz refresh rate, along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

The G42 also has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 20W charging. Both Motorola phones run on Android 12.
