The cameras are being launched alongside two RF-S lenses: the RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM.

The Canon EOS R7 mirrorless camera features a 32.5MP APS-C sensor, with Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. This means the camera can shoot at up to 30 frames per second with an electronic shutter. The camera is being marketed as a companion for sports and wildlife activities.

It’s possible to shoot 4K video on the R7 at 60 frames per second, with Full HD slow motion recording and no more 30-minute recording limit.

Meanwhile, the EOS R10 is a smaller device that is marketed towards content creators. The camera features a 24MP APS-C sensor along with Dual Pixel CMOS AF. The R10 can record 4K video at up to 30 frames per second, with a fully articulating LCD and has an electronic viewfinder for monitoring options.

The two cameras are being launched with a pair of zoom kit lenses. The RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM has been described a small starter lens, while the long-range RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM can cover everyday shooting scenarios.
